Lead the development, oversight, outreach, and business lifecycle of the Aero Innovation hub at NEOM Airports.

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

• Identify, develop, strategize, and drive transformative sustainability initiatives and champion the role of innovation with NEOM Airport by aligning overall business strategy and innovative thinking
• Develop the strategy for NEOM’s Aero Innovation Hub and oversee research activities and develop knowledge-based products for a company
• Oversee R&D programs that incorporate new technologies to improve existing products and ensure that NEOM International Airport is at the cutting edge of innovation
• Act as subject matter expert on aerial innovation, bringing in expertise on the newest and most advanced aviation-related technology to NEOM International Airports
• Oversee the development of the scope, deliverables, work plan, budget, feasibility assessment & evaluation, timing, and other requirements for new initiatives in line with division outcomes and objectives
• Identify areas of improvement and automation and engage with contractors, technology providers, service providers, vendors, and other external stakeholders in ensuring project delivery
• Oversee mergers and acquisitions of new technologies that can add value to NEOM International Airport portfolio
• Obtain feedback from users and other business intelligence vendors to implement next developmental steps for the Aero Innovation Hub
• On-board new clients through business development initiatives and manage relationships with them to ensure their cooperation and retainment
• Conduct and lead industry analysis to shape a perspective of new arising trends, consumer needs and the competition from similar airport solutions
• Provide support and expertise to other internal departments to ensure alignment and best leverage their knowledge for content/technology from the Aero Innovation Hub
• Partner and liaise with advanced aviation industry partners and associations to attract new clients and evolve the Aero Innovation Hub at NEOM International Airport

Background, Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in aviation, engineering business development, computer science or related field
• 10 years of experience in business development of entrepreneurial products
• 5 years of experience in product management of business intelligence and product solutions
• Strong business skills for successful product management.
• Ability to develop a business model based on analysis of market and consumer needs
• Knowledge of data analysis, data science, project management and business development
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
• Well-developed technical writing and spoken English skills
