Texel Air WLL is a Bahrain registered airline formed in 2013. It provides dedicated and customized third-party cargo charter operations to a range of international customers with diverse consignment requirements. Our B737F fleet provide flexibility and versatility to service the GCC region and beyond. The fleet, which is in the process of expanding, operates from our purpose-built facilities based at Bahrain International Airport.

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Flight Dispatcher to join our Operational Control Centre based in Bahrain. We are looking for someone who is passionate about dispatching, is highly skilled in ensuring a  seamless operation and who is keen to be part of a dynamic, growing organization.

The position provides an excellent opportunity for the right individual to develop their experience in an airline OCC and provides the opportunity for further development.

Responsibilities

The individual will report to the OCC Manager.

Key accountabilities of this role include:

• Ensuring safe, on-time operations
• Route Planning
• Pre-flight management
• Flight following
• Crew Rostering
• Determining whether a particular flight is operationally feasible
• Arranging all services which are relevant for the safe operation of the flight

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Hold a Flight Dispatch Licence issued by the FAA or EASA.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Dispatcher, preferably in a smaller operation with unscheduled/on-demand international experience (ACMI background)
• Have an in-depth knowledge of ANTR Ops 1 Subpart D in relation to Dispatch requirements.
• Have experience with electronic crew rostering and flight planning systems. Cyberjet and PPS Flight Planning preferable
• Be attentive to detail and pragmatic in approach.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules
• Be a competent communicator, fluent in both written and spoken English
• Self educator and skilled in research and development of operating policies and procedures
