Negotiation Project Lead for large gas turbine projects in tendering phase. This includes

        o    Leading the technical negotiation support team, acting responsible for the required clarifications/tasks/support and preparation of Technical documentation

        o    Thermodynamic calculation of gas turbine performance guarantees, as well as optimization of gas turbine operation in coordination with other departments

        o    Evaluation of technical risks and development of mitigation measures in cooperation with other departments

        o    Review and assessment of customer specifications, resulting in creation, review and compilation of technical documentation for tendering

        o    Clarification of critical issues with management as well as with project managers

        o    Representing the technical negotiation team in the management review/release meeting

        o    Technical sales support during contract negotiations with the customer

o     Upgrading & developing in-house tools, Building APIs, Designing and developing databases. This includes

        o    Directing software programming and documentation development.

        o    Consulting with internal stakeholders to improve the tools capabilities.

        o    Working with teams on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

        o    Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new tools or modifications of an existing tool.

        o    Consulting with different team to evaluate software interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements

        o    Conferring with internal teams to obtain information on limitations or capabilities

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds

o            Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer graduate/Postgraduate from recognized college/university

o            More than 5 years of experience in gas turbine, turbo machinery, aerospace or equivalent field in Negotiations, tools development, research or customer engineering. 

o            Product knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of Gas Turbine design, operation including thermodynamic understanding

o            Strong knowledge of Tools development in turbo machinery/Gas Turbine environment:

        o    Experience in Software Tools Development such as VBA, APEX (Oracle DB), Python, FORTRAN, C++, Python, C#, PL/SQL

        o    Experience in development of software tools for proposal, customer engineering & performance engineering applications.

o            Strong Experience in Proposal and Negotiation support.

o            Experience in technical writing and conducting formal presentations.

o            Candidate must have the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines on time.

o            Intercultural experience/sensitivity

o            Candidate must be detail‐oriented, organized, self‐motivated, and results oriented

o            System knowledge: working knowledge about total power plant functionality, especially power train

o            Customer orientation: being able to think from the customer’s perspective to optimize the technical scope of the project

o            Business orientation: being able to think from the perspective of Siemens to optimize the Business Impact of the project within scope of work.

o            Teamwork skills: Be comfortable working with colleagues in multiple time zones and cultures in a team and/or to lead an expert team to answer technical questions and to perform risk assessments.

o            Networking skills: Ability to establish relationships and build networks in a global team setup and interface with other (engineering) groups across the organization

o            Communication: Very good verbal, written communication skills in English, including good presentation skills.

o            Continuous Improvement: Ability to analyze and optimize processes and way of working.
