Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drafting subsystem requirements for satellite Guidance Navigation and Control.
• GNC Design including Satellite Attitude Dynamics and Control System (SADCS).
• Contributing to mission design and trade studies including mission CONOPS definition.
• Performing GNC simulations and analysis to validate the design and CONOPS.
• Characterizing, modelling and selecting GNC sensors and actuators.
• Correspondence with the suppliers for sourcing GNC components.
• Participation FDIR and FMECA activities.
• Participating in subsystem and system level AIT activities

Key Requirements:

• Master's in Aerospace/Electrical/Control Systems or comparable field.
• 2+ years of experience in GNC/SADCS design
• Strong knowledge of GNC sensors and actuators.
• Experience in designing, testing and optimizing GNC algorithms.
• Experience with GNC simulations.
• Fundamental understanding of operational aspects of mission design.
• Proficiency in C/ C++, MATLAB and/or Python.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Preference shall be given to candidates having 5+ years of experience in GNC/SADCS design including end-to-end realization and testing of flight hardware
• Experience in designing, testing and optimizing GNC algorithms for satellites in non-linear regime.
• Fundamental knowledge of orbital mechanics.
• Experience with one of the mission design software like STK/GMAT/Freeflyer etc.
• Experience with MATLAB Simulink.
• Experience with control system hardware selection, testing and integration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with own team and cross-functional teams.
