Report directly to GSE Workshop Supervisor. To assists skilled workers in performing their work. Employee works under close supervision. Work according to the requirements asked by the immediate supervisor. Report directly to GSE Workshop Supervisor and carries out skilled mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairing on ground support equipments (motorized and non-motorized, light and heavy-duty vehicles) at the workshop and on site.
Work with supervisory staff to continually improve reliability of equipment through improvements in preventive and predictive maintenance programs, develop systems to track/trend equipment performance to identify and proactively address reliability issues. Assist supervisory staff to coordinate work assignments and prioritization, evaluate jobs that require more than the typical skills. Make recommendations on methods to accomplish the assigned task, respond to emergency calls when regularly scheduled backup personnel are not available, participate in department sponsored training programs.
