KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This is a key role to lead and champion the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) function across the Country Foods end to end supply chain. The role requires strong domain knowledge of Integrated Business Planning with the ability to build and mentor a team that delivers as a consolidated unit. As IBP is the pivotal point of our supply chain it is imperative that this role can work cross-functionally to facilitate discussions, bridge and break-down silos, find solutions and achieve buy-in for solutions that deliver the best value for the organization as a whole.
• Define, develop and execute strategies to achieve optimum inventory and profitability for Country Foods’ business that spans across 1000+ products over various food product categories in Singapore.
• Lead a planning team to manage over 70,000MT (over 300M SGD) of inventory including managing excess, shortage, ageing stocks and quality issues, with 50 suppliers in 13 countries.
• Participate in shaping Supply and Demand Planning strategies, capabilities and processes to improve IBP integration and performance.
• Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders (sourcing, finance, logistics and sales).
• Present supply and demand recommendations to leadership, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain, based on demand planning scenarios, business forecast and product transitions.
• Delivering strategic leadership through talent management and succession planning.
• To re-define, implement and lead a world class Sales and Operations Planning process within Country Foods that balances supply, demand and capacity to deliver proactive management cross-functionally.
• Develop and utilize market intelligence within each product/protein category to assist in driving profitability and strategic management from a planning perspective.
• Development and continuous improvement of planning and visibility tools and applications to extract better insight and proactive responsiveness of the food supply chain.

• Lead transformation projects within IBP and across the organization such as, but not limited to: implementation of new Supply Planning and Optimization solutions and processes; Sales and Operations Planning solutions and capabilities; Control Tower visibility solutions.
• Lead continuous process improvements and operational excellence projects to achieve cost savings and optimum service level.
• Ensure the IBP team is effectively navigating the complexities of national stockpile project from source to customer through a friction-less flow of information and tools for monitoring performance in real-time and for collaboration on resolution of issues that arise. This will include working in close cooperation with sourcing, supply chain, production and channel professionals to ensure optimised supply chain performance to deliver a seamless service as well as leveraging the stockpile inventory optimally where possible.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in Supply Chain Planning and execution
• Minimum of 3 years managing a team.
• Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes (scheduling, warehousing, fulfillment, reverse logistics).
• Experience in S&OP, IBP, demand forecasting, inventory optimization and supply planning.
• Experience in long lead time planning as well as knowledge of value-add manufacturing ideally within the Food and Beverage or Consumer Goods vertical would be highly beneficial.
• Candidates with implementation and/or operational experience within a Sales and Operations Planning environment would be favorable.
• Exposure to Financial Analysis, Procurement and Logistics would also be of value.
• Strong background in quantitative and critical thinking, and data analysis
• Experience in ERP, APS, SCPO, DRP, Control Tower systems and processes including Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Optimization, Supply Planning and Sales & Operations Planning.
• Deep knowledge of Integrated Business Planning policies and procedures and how to re-engineer planning processes to optimize the performance of a distributor/value-add manufacturing supply chain
