Job Description:

1. Preparing and conducting of CAR 147 approved type training courses & CAR 145 training courses
2. Conducting Aircraft visits as required by TNA
3. Using CBT and other approved training devices/means such as Virtual aircraft to supplement theoretical element of the approved course as stipulated in TNA
4. Compiling & updating course notes and examination question databank to account for aircraft modification(s) and/or procedure changes thus ensuring continuous validity of training and examination materials.
5. Suggesting and recommending improvement(s) of the standards to Training & Examinations Manager in order to enhance training effectiveness.
6. Ensure the course materials, training aids, presentations etc. are of high quality keeping in line with CAA-DGCAR CAR 66 and 147 requirements and other international aircraft maintenance training standards and best practices.
7. Invigilating of phase examination provided that he did not conduct training of that particular phase
8. Preparation and conducting of approved type examinations.
9. Marking, recording, and analysing the examination results as directed by Training & Examinations Manager.
10. Assisting Training & Examinations Manager in ensuring sufficient examination databank exists by regularly writing new questions, updating and reviewing the existing examination papers.
11. Conducting Practical Training/Assessments as per the approved MTOE
12. Any other task that is allocated by Vice President Technical Training

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Aviation Engineering with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Base Maintenance Environment and a minimum 5 years of teaching experience in an EASA/CAR 147 Training environment  

Holder of EASA Part 66 or equivalent aircraft maintenance license with a minimum 3 years of Line/Base Maintenance experience and a minimum 5 years of teaching experience

In addition, the candidate must possess an “Instructional Techniques” course from a recognised centre and hold an “Instructor approval” to conduct training course on B737NG, B737MAX, B787(GEnx-1B), A330-200/300(RRT700)
