Job Description

The Airside Development team oversees the development of new airside infrastructure projects for current terminals and T5 (apron, baggage, taxiways) and plan for future concept of operations by working closely with internal (design teams, line units) and external stakeholders (ATC, GSPs), to ensure a safe and efficient airside and baggage operations in Changi Airport.

This role reports to the team lead of the Airside Development team:

• You will formulate user requirements for the detailed development of new/modified airside infrastructure
• You will drive the operationalisation of new/modified airside infrastructure to deliver capacity that is safe for operations
• You will be the division’s coordinator for the design and development of T5’s Baggage concept and infrastructure
• You will double hat as a project lead in Baggage Transformation, that will shape the future of Changi Airport’s Baggage Operations, to develop, trial and implement key workstreams to enable proactive management of baggage via data driven capabilities

Requirements

• Good degree in any discipline with 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in project management or change management roles
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of both senior management and operations staff
• Good design thinking, project management and stakeholder management skills
• Highly driven, independent, resourceful, and adaptable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Enjoys problem-solving and challenging status quo
• Strong proficiency in paper-writing/presentation tools and spreadsheet/data analytics tools (e.g. Microsoft suite of tools and any other digital tools to aid in work)
• Experience in airport or ground handling operations with background in baggage operations will be advantageous
