Job Description


  • -  Inbound & Outbound clearance TAT  to be  achieved.
  • -  Ensuring NO Detention/Demurrage due to internal failure in communication.
  • -  Closure of  disputed Invoices from LSP/Customers .
  • -  Attend & lead structured reviews with top 10 customers .
  • -  Motivating Team members to get maximum Productivity from them and supporting them to achieve the desired results.
  • -  Ensuring Best  Services to all Customers and achieve KPIs as laid down by Management from time to time.

Key Accountabilities

  • . Supervise monitor and support team of 6-7 persons who will handle all below activities
  • ∙ Monitor all physical handling activities at the port
  • ∙ Ensure cargo is cleared on time and without penalty consistently
  • ∙ Coordinate processing of shipments and handling of physical documents
  • ∙ Coordination with customer for ocean Import & Export clearance
  • ∙ Follow up with  Shipping line/Forwarder /Brokers for clearance of the shipment
  • ∙ Closure of post shipment issues ( E.g. EGM, MEIS, Shipping Transmission etc.)
  • ∙ Coordination with customers for VAS activities
  • ∙ Approvals to be taken for activity which are not in commercials agreed with Customers
  • ∙ Update of Export clearance / VAS activities status to the Internal customers
  • ∙ Daily status report to respective customers to be sent on a regular basis

Education / Qualification / Certification

  • Graduate / Post Graduate with 8+ yrs  of experience
