Job Description

Educational Qualifications         

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline with 8 years of relevant work experience in Human Resource field with at least 3 years Supervisory experience in employee relations function.

Skills/Knowledge           

  • Proficient in English (Spoken & Written)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of HRMS systems
  • Monitor and oversee all Employee Relation activities carried out by the subordinates.
  • Coordinate with user departments and union teams to frame policies and procedures to handle all employee relations issues as per law.

Job Description

  • dentify and drive philosophies and programs to foster constructive employee relations and ensure company’s approach to its employees is fair, respectful and consistent
  • gather, analyze and interpret data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee relations and engagement
  • Identify risks and challenges to the employee relationship
  • Reduce risks by developing programs, policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable employee relations and business decisions
  • Evaluate and improve existing HR practices to introduce new perspectives, trends and processes
  • Ensure employment policies and practices comply with relevant employment regulations
  • Advise management and leadership on employee relations
  • Serve as the point of contact on fundamental HR issues and questions
  • Provide guidance and counsel to employees on employee relations issues and workplace practices
  • Oversee, review and advise on employee grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Respond to, manage and resolve conflict
  • Handle all grievances issues for entire company in coordination with the respective user department and Grievances Committee and ensure to solve them in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee PASI operation activities carried out by subordinates which includes receiving PASI contribution bills from the PASI board to carry out PASI contribution operations and ensure that all new staff (Omani national) are enrolled in PASI and all relieving staff deleted from PASI list.
  • Timely revision of manuals and suggest amendments of policies as per changing business needs in order to ensure all disciplinary code manual records are maintained up to date to take disciplinary action steps on employees who display unacceptable code of conduct during working hours.
  • Clear all hearings and ensure documentation are done accordingly for all disciplinary hearings in coordination with Disciplinary Committee
  • Analyse the rate of sick leaves and suggest necessary action plan or changes to be taken to minimize the occurrence of Sick leave and Absenteeism.
  • Frame policies and procedures to counter Strike Issues in line with Omani Labour Law and liaise with Ministry of Labor to resolve them in the best possible manner.
  • Frame Policies and Procedures in coordination with Union Teams as per Ministry of Labor directive and in line with company’s regulations to handle all employee relations issues as per law.
  • Constantly monitor to ensure that al Labor laws pertaining to our business are kept up to date and are available for use with our business adhering to the regulatory requirements.
  • Overall in charge of staff attendance from the TAS (Time Attendance System) for salary payment / deductions/ other related payroll processing for staff both in Head Office & in Outstations.
  • Carryout any other tasks as assigned by management
