Develop and implement Airline product development strategy and implementation framework

Develop and implement fleet pre-procurement and procurement strategy and implementation framework, as well the associated financing strategy

BFE / SFE overall concept to be implemented according with the innovative service offering aspirations and the impact on the cost structure

Key Accountabilities & Activities:

Fleet & Product

• Design aircraft product configuration and customize based on expected traffic forecast.
• Develop in detail the fleet sourcing parameters, including go to market mix of leasing vs. purchasing and develop sourcing strategy.
• Lead the aircraft pre-procurement and procurement processes, managing all associated streams and keeping a close interaction with all involved stakeholders
• Develop and implement financing strategy to meet the future objectives of the airline.
• Design airline’s ground / tech & digital products to be offered to the passengers in accordance with the airport strategy.
• Conduct RFP for branding / marketing / customer experience agency to develop the airline’s brand prior to launch.
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with OEMs, lessors and other specialized providers.

Strategic Planning

• Develop short, medium, and long-term strategy in collaboration with Airline Leadership.
• Define KPIs and set targets for strategic initiatives.
• Track and monitor progress and perform periodic reporting and corrective action as needed.
• Source new technology players and ensure adoption of state-of-the-art solutions, innovations, best practices, and sustainability policies.
• Align cross workstream interdependencies (intermodal solutions / security needs) with other NEOM workstreams (tourism, digital, security, and other stakeholders) to ensure overall service effectiveness.
• Optimize synergies between NEOM airline and NEOM airport to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with key strategic technological partners and airline operating partners.
  
  

• Knowledge of the structure of different Industry areas and airline needs.
• Knowledge of KSA and Middle East aviation market characteristics and needs (incl. regulatory framework)
• Demonstrated industry knowledge including business and financial acumen

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or aviation related field
• Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP), IPMA/GPM, PRINCE II) is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Project, Visio, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools (especially SAP), methodologies, and best practices
• Industry specialized training a plus
