Job Description: Manager-Revenue Management

Role:

The position is responsible for the development of IndiGo’s Revenue Management (RM) within a competitive framework, and the optimization of the airlines revenue and inventory. Working closely with other members of IndiGo and his/her reporting team, the manager shall be responsible for developing and maximizing all revenue opportunities for the airline within his/her team. He will be responsible for RM support activities of his/her team.

 The role requires heavy analytical skills and the ability to create maintain and evolve management reporting systems to provide an accurate and timely view of the team’s performance.

Responsibilities:

The role shall be responsible for the following areas:

• ¨            Managing the team of analysts.
• ¨            Revenue Management
• ¨            Meet monthly revenue team targets  
• ¨            Flight optimization and mentoring team to work on same direction.
• ¨            Analyze weekly and daily revenue reports and forward booking statistics to guide team.
• ¨            Develop new revenue optimization strategies as per the competition behavior.
• ¨            Ensure that IndiGo offers competitive fare availability
• ¨            Guide team to increase demand on a flight-by-flight basis and ensure revenue maximization
• ¨            Manage RM Support activities assigned to team.
• ¨            Manage High LF and Maximum Revenue from the flights.
• ¨            Analyze booking trends and revenue forecast of his/her team.
• ¨            Manage and update of the RM systems at IndiGo
• ¨            Use of available business intelligence to position IndiGo competitively
• ¨            Comprehensive reporting of competitor activity
• ¨            Recommendations on capacity for the team.
• ¨            Scheduled and adhoc reports and analysis.
