Job Description

In this interesting role, you will be accountable to formulate manpower plans for effective utilization of existing resources capacity and implement strategies that will ensure that the organization has the required skills to meet the current and future needs. You will be responsible for budget exercise and analysis historical manpower trends and propose cost efficient manpower budget taking into consideration the operational demands to meet the economic and services level objective. 

To achieve success in this role you will need to: 

Strategic

• Design a framework and approach to proactively measure and manage workforce strategy and effectiveness.
• Define analytics / reports to support the creation and review of workforce plans. 
• Partner with Business Leaders and HR to implement and measure workforce action plans.

Operational

• Manage and develop an efficient and cost-effective workforce planning considering the historical and future aspects of QACC business areas.
• Leading the annual manpower budgeting exercise ensuring timely collection, processing and presentation of information to QACC Management.
• Explore all possible areas to optimize the resources considering the operational efficiency and set target by the company.

Management & Leadership

• Establish the department or teams’ objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
• Regularly evaluate the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
• Oversee and supervise employees.  Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Additional Accountabilities

• Manage ad hoc remuneration projects as per organizational needs.

Qualifications

You should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job – related experience OR High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience. 

Essential

• Computer Literacy and knowledge in HR Systems.
• Fluency in English is a must.

Preferred

• Master's Degree / MBA.
• Relevant experience in an airline industry and/or consulting environment.

In addition, you will have the following job specific skills:

• Advances skills (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent Coomunication - both written and spoken English and presentation skills are key qualities for this role.
• Must have good analytical skills, have the ability to multitask and complete numerous task within deadlines.
• Ability to analyse data effectively in order to produce recommendations.
• Ability to perform manpower productivity measurement & analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Good understanding of the various industries/sectors, the fundamental business principles and business drivers.
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
