Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Reading and understanding of complex technical drawings and 3D models
  • Checking design drawings regarding technical feasibility in the aircraft
  • Development of work plans including aeronautical accompanying documents
  • Determination of process optimization potentials by means of, P-FMEA, value stream analyses and time calculations
  • Preparation of product, process and progress reports considering economic aspects
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to optimize and advance manufacturing processes
  • Identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and improved manufacturing processes
  • Supervision of volume production including incident management

Qualifications

  • Degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering with a focus on manufacturing technology

Skills

  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aerospace environment with several years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes, ideally within aircraft construction
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5
  • Pro-active, hands-on and structured way of working
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
