Job Description

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Graduate mechanical engineer or equivalent degree with minimum of 4 years’ experience in  Aviation Tubes and Ducts, Fabrication Industry.
  • Shall have experience in non-traditional material removal process. Capable of establishing and qualifying NT process.
  • Shall have experience in assembly process. Capable of establishing different riveting process and insulation assembly.
  • Shall have experience in 2D and 5-Axis Laser cutting process.
  • Shall have experience in drawing evaluation, manufacturing process feasibility study, calculate should manufacturing hours and ensure parts are manufactured within should hours.
  • Ability to analyze defects, identify root causes and provide efficient solution and implement CAAP.
  • knowledge of manufacturing process like welding, tube bending, forming added advantage.  
  • Shall have hands on experience in stainless steel and Inconel tube and sheet fabrication in aviation industry.
  • Working experience with GE Aviation P Specification. 
  • Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources. Shall have hands on experience of Oracle ERP
  • Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations
  • Must be familiar with EHS practices inside workshop as well as on site.
  • Understanding of machining practices and familiarity with machine tools, CNC setup, tooling, cutters, taps, inserts, optical tools, and calibration processes
  • Should have Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college /university
  • Should Have Minimum of 4-10 years’ hands on experience in manufacturing engineering, in tubes and ducts aviation industry
  • Should have good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
