Job Description

  • Ensures that the aircraft are released timely, airworthy and in a safe manner.
  • Liaises closely with operations and CMO to ensure aircraft meet scheduled departures
  • Manages any AOG recovery with all internal and external stakeholders as necessary, including preparation of work orders, one-off authorisation requests, etc., as appropriate
  • Maintains direct and real time communication with IOCC at ALL times
  • Coordinates Aircraft Maintenance Schedule/ Operations Schedule, Base Maintenance and Line Stations to align aircraft for defect rectification.
  • Liaises closely with Planning team and CMO to ensure that all planned maintenance is performed.
  • Ensures that all daily activity and reports are maintained in line with the agreed procedures and to expected standards.
  • Supports CMO and engineering department on interpretation of Maintenance Data and guidance for troubleshooting defects.
  • Supports both Flight crew and contracted maintenance providers on the completion of the Technical Log, if necessary
  • Prepares daily critical and delay reports
  • Maintains the aircraft to agreed levels of deferred defects (MELs and NEFs)
  • Manages and records/analyses all technical delays on the fleet to meet the KPI targets for TDR.
