Job Description

NOC Planner supports the Line Manager in all aspects of pre-flight operations and daily flight operations to ensure schedule integrity, and provides key disruption management inputs to the NOC team.

Key Responsibilities

  • _Continually monitor and take proactive actions to avoid or minimize disruptions to flight schedules within the NOC operations window:
  • _Ensure a safe and secure operation.
  • _Responsible to provide and implement solutions to deliver brand continuity and protection, while promoting the most advantageous economic outcome.
  • _Manage and validate assign aircraft tail to the schedule routes i.e aircraft profile vs routes
  • _Incorporate the Monthly Aircraft schedule Maintenance to AIMS , but not limited to Daily, Weekly MX schedule.
  • _Assess and provide feedback on Aircraft Availability for Charter/ADHOC , additional flight request
  • _Coordinate between Commercial NWS and Flt Ops CSP on schedule adjustment requirement
  • _Coordinate between Commercial NWS and Flt Ops CSP for Charter/ADHOC, Additional flights * crewing availability
  • _Manage and ensure all Overfly permits, Civil Aviation and Fleet station approval in placed.
  • _Manage and publish the Daily Aircraft Rotation for next day.
  • _Participate in collaborative decision-making processes with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • _Ensure compliance with all applicable business and industry specific regulations, and legislative requirements, as prescribed in the NOC (OCCM) and Operations Manuals.
  • _Monitor and recommend plans to recover irregular operations efficiently with the most favorable outcome, taking into consideration economic, brand value and operational efficiency.
  • _Proactively monitor and analyzes all available information to pre-empt and minimize or avoid operational disruptions

  • _Knowledge of Crewing and Aircraft Scheduling
  • _Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Schedule is an advantage
  • _Knowledge and experience in the requirements of industry and regulatory compliance matters.
  • _Well-developed problem-solving capability.
  • _Extremely well organized.
  • _Remains calm and focused under pressure.
  • _A strong communicator.
  • _Ability to work as part of a team.
  • _Strong analytical capability.

Operational

_The NOC Officer is responsible to coordinate with Flight Dispatchers, Crew Controllers, Maintenance _Controllers and Ground Ops to ensure regulatory and technical issues are well coordinated and clearly disseminated to the Duty NOC Manager and Senior Network Control Manager.

  • _Continually monitor and take proactive actions to avoid or minimize disruptions to flight schedules during DOPS , window + 72Hrs.
  • _Ensure a safe and secure operation.
  • _Coordination of the daily flying operation
  • Monitor Airports, Weather and availability of aircraft and crew
  • Maintain continual and open communications with GOPS/Station reps
  • Maintain AIMS up to date on actual data’s including the amount of delays & reason if any
  • Communicate with Flight Watch any details that may impact the running flight schedule
  • Consult with MCC regarding fleet limitations and planned maintenance events prior to tail allocation
  • Clear communication channel with Crewing Officers regarding any changes to duty times through operational disruption;
  • Prepare a daily handover, maintain daily operations log
  • _Communication and disruption management – under direction of NOC Duty Manager
  • _Compliance and emergency response- assist as directed by the NOC Duty Manager
  • _Ensure compliance with all applicable business and industry specific regulations and legislative requirements, as prescribed in the NOC (OCCM) and Operational Manuals
  • _Reporting and project management
  • _Undertake other tasks assigned by Senior Network Control Manager
