Job Description

  • To drive initiatives that promote organisation design effectiveness and the continued improvement of OD policy and processes to govern and sustain good organisation health amidst evolving business needs of EAG.
  • To set frameworks for the review of manpower budget, manpower models and workforce requirements in partnership with the leadership team and develop long term manpower models using industrial engineering studies, tools and techniques.

Accountabilities

  • Engage with key business stakeholders on complex OD issues and solicit agreement and support on sensitive and potentially contentious organization design ad sizing strategies.
  • Champion manpower efficiencies, organization design principles and establish governance mechanisms to uphold targeted manpower efficiencies OD principles on spans, layers and grade to grade reporting.
  • Drive OD, manpower planning process re-engineering, change management programmers and implement intervention plans to address dysfunctional aspects of processes, procedures, structures and systems, realign them to fit current business realities and goals and then develop plans to implement new changes. 
  • Conduct benchmarking studies of efficiencies and advise on long term efficiency opportunities across various divisions within EAG
  • Drive the requirements with COEs in organizational development to address reward and benefits, succession planning, workforce engagement & development, change management and continuous improvement towards a high performing team culture.
  • Experience in Organizations & Methods, Data analytics and Management reporting. 

Education & Experience

  • Requires a University Degree education in Industrial Engineering with optional master’s in Operations Research or a related field with advanced qualification in Organizational Development, Manpower Planning and Efficiencies. 
  • Professional Change Management certification with Lean Six Sigma GB or BB  is an advantage.    
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in Organizational Design role e.g. in Organizational Change Management. Experience in HR or Management Consulting background, ideally with extensive practical experience in an airline or a large multi-functional/international organization will also be considered.
