Job Description

Assist the Operations Officers in the Administration of Daily Flight Operations and supervise and organize passenger baggage and freight handling duties at Doha heliport.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Description

  • Check-In passengers including preparation of manifests, weighing of baggage and freight.
  • Ensure baggage is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in passenger and freight loading, when required.
  • Assist in preparation of freight and external loads.
  • Ensure all passengers receive safety briefings in accordance with company requirements prior to helicopter boarding.
  • Prepare and control of offshore Identity Cards.
  • Cleanliness of Terminal, Terminal surrounds, Car Parking Area and Operational Offices.
  • Working shift hours – being available for overtime work to meet commercial requirements.
  • Driving duties, if and when qualified, as might be required.
  • Preparation of passenger passes and manifests for offshore flights.
  • Ensure all passengers watch the flight safety video.
  • Assist in passenger and freight loading when required.
  • Ensure all preparations are in order for VIP flights as per the “VIP Check List”.
  • Assist the Operations Officer in the preparation and distribution of the daily flying program.
  • Notify the Operations Officer of any damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Assist the Operations Officer in the maintenance and updating of information in the Operations room including :
    • AIP’s
    • Jeppessen Manuals
    • Operations Manuals
    • Aircraft Documents
    • Notams
    • Met
    • Rosters
    • Offshore Data
    • Rig Locations Map
    • Distributing received faxes and messages.
    • Posting all relevant Met and Notams on operations notice boards.
    • Assisting the Operations Officer with the weekly operations audit.
    • Any other duties as required the Operations Coordinator.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications:

  • Secondary Education

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an administrative function

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Good knowledge about PC’s and Microsoft Office
  • Good Numeracy Skills
  • Good English
