• Manage production planning team members (Assembly Planning ,Machining Planning, Aftermarket Planning, Order Desk)
• Primary Lead for meeting customer OTD targets
• Primary Lead for conducting SIOP process (pre-SIOP, SIOP, Exe SIOP)
• Primary lead for Production and Dispatch Planning for Daily & Weekly plan
• Primary contact for Intercompany customers and evaluate demand forecast
• Work with Inventory Analyst to set right amount of Min-max Levels
• Planning for Import parts from Inter Company.
• Work closely with Buyers to ensure material shortages are identified and production planning done accordingly.
• Work with customers to resolve supply issues
• Work closely with Engineering & Proto parts team to resolve BOM changes, localization, new programs & supply issues
• Work closely with plant quality to resolve production/ dispatch hold issues
• Meet freight and premium Freight target for the plant by work with logistics team
• Timely escalation of customer delivery issues to appropriate leadership levels
• Any other work related activity as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

Requirement:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Materials Management, Strong in customer relationship and communication would be required
• 6 -8 years' experience in production Planning functions having in-depth knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Supplier Relationship and Procurement.
• Effective communication & Leadership skill & Management roles in Engg. Industry.
• Communicates effectively with all management and production personnel, and can quickly and effectively build relationships at all levels. Must be able to effectively work in a matrix organization.
• Experience in other areas like Lean/Six Sigma, Program Management would be added advantage.
• Must have strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage employees effectively. Ability to forge strong relationships at all levels in organization. Strong Team player.
