About the role:

As Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Ensure the correct asset hierarchy is defined for MATAR assets in order to optimize the maintenance and maintain the life cycle of assets in alignment with the asset management system.
• Support subject matter experts in defining maintenance strategies to eliminate potential delays to upload asset data in CMMS
• Developing the strategic plan and drive continuous improvement programs to optimize asset maintenance through identifying the best industrial solutions.
• Managing the MATAR maintenance data standards, through the coordination of Oracle eAM change requests to assure conformity to MATAR Asset Management System.
• Responsible for determining maintenance costs, including material and labor through Oracle eAM in order to support bottoms up budget approach.
• Recruiting, training, coaching, and leading   schedulers & planners as they provide
• Preparing operating budget of section and ensure expenditure kept within the budget.
• Performe technical evaluation of internally managed projects and participate in negotiation with external vendors.

Qualifications

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in large and complex work environment involving management of many internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Expert Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as: Oracle, SAP, Maximo.
• Competent in leading, coaching and guiding a team.
• Sound knowledge and proven experience with maintenance planning of airport systems.
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
• Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
• Valid GCC license is a must
