Job Description

Basic Qualifications: B.Tech./MTech/ Ph D in Mechanical/Aeronautical, 10 Plus Years’ of Experience in Aerospace field include Technology Development, New Product Development, redesign, R & D.  
Mechanical System Design,  Development and Testing(DO160G)  Drive Technology projects for Water and ICE protection Systems

•    Water systems, Valves, Electromechanical systems
•    CNT design and Manufacturing
•    Elastomeric compound, material testing and Analysis 
•    Research and development in Heaters or Heating systems, Polymers    

Applies scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions. Ensures novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools.

• Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development to exchange information, ideas, and techniques for design of product or processes. Designs major components or portions of a functional system, technically advanced prototypes, and promotional or specific products that develop and improve products and facilitate engineering operations. Creates and presents designs in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) to ensure effectiveness, viability, and quality of designs.

• Must have worked in new product development & redesign of components and assemblies of Aerospace area. Knowledge in CMS/UPI/DFA/DFMA and Product cost is an added advantage
• Must have knowledge of CAD tool, drawing creation, GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis, manufacturing processes and materials/composite/polymer/ Elastomers.
• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic concepts is desirable.
• Experience in Electro-mechanical packaging, Tubing , hose , valve, Sheet metal, Machining ,Electrical Panel design and wire harness.
• Expertise in Heating systems or Heater and Aerospace NPI is preferred.
• Experience of DO-160/ABD/D6 is must.
• Trains, instructs, and provides technical guidance to junior engineers to help them diagnose and solve problems and build technical and professional capabilities. Resolves design problems and makes recommendations to management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of design activities.
• May manage moderately sized projects or processes.• Typically viewed as subject-matter expert within discipline. • Has advanced to expert knowledge of work area. • Problems solving • Minimal oversight from manager. • Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals. • Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures. Strong in analytical thinking.
