Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager focused on NAVBLUE’s Fly & Navigate and Supply Aerodata value streams, based in Singapore, to drive the Marketing activities for the Asia-Pacific and China regions providing market and competitor intelligence and analyses to successfully support NAVBLUE’s business targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in actively providing technical pre-business development support and training with Marketing feedback and recommendations to the business development team for assigned products and services.
  • Specific responsibilities include executing the Marketing plan, customer calls, customer presentations and / or demonstrations, supporting our Grow The Business (GTB) activities, bid management and RFP activities with Marketing feedback and recommendations, strictly in accordance with NAVBLUE instructions and guidelines.
  • Stay appraised with current technology in the market in an effort to be recognized as an expert in the specified technology relevant to NAVBLUE’s products and services.
  • Order Intake & KPI targets: New Business, Renewals and KPIs based on Business development and Marketing targets - support with Marketing actions, analyses, feedback and recommendations.
  • Marketing Manager in the Fly & Navigate (EFB, navigation charts, electronic documentation, electronic flight folder, decentralized aircraft performance and weight & balance) and Supply Aerodata (navigation database) value streams within NAVBLUE Marketing for the Asia-Pacific and China (APAC & China) Sales regions.
  • Proactively provide technical product support and training with Marketing feedback and recommendations to the Sales teams for specified products and services.
  • Support all stages of the sales cycle including, but not limited to, supporting the preparation and delivery of presentations and demonstrations to customers, supporting customer meetings, and supporting the development of proposals and RFP (RFx) responses, strictly in accordance with NAVBLUE instructions and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Production (Operations) and Delivery & Deployment as necessary to support customer requests during the Sales process.
  • Provide Marketing content and support for the NAVwiki (internal NAVBLUE product marketing library), press releases, websites, blogs, social media, sales tool kit, trade shows, and events and conferences

It is understood that the Product Marketing Manager has no authority to negotiate or determine prices and other terms with identified customers for NAVBLUE which includes but is not limited to time of delivery/completion, place of delivery/completion, product/service specification, etc. or engage in the conduct of business of any kind other than as expressly provided above

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Provide a communication path to the respective Product Management group relating to commercial and operational issues.
  • Demonstrate products and services using all types of tools (brochures, demonstrations, presentations) and articulate product capabilities and sales differentiators (unique selling points).
  • Update customers on products and technology as related to customer’s needs as a resource to the Sales and Customer Support (account management) teams.
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn more about technologies inside and outside assigned specialty areas.
  • Understand and know the current and forecast markets for the NAVBLUE portfolio.
  • Understand and know the competition.
  • Create Marketing analyses as required for the benefit of NAVBLUE.
  • Support NAVBLUE Air, the internal NAVBLUE Operations Control Center for customer experience.

Job Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a management role with Sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must work effectively with others in a team environment as well as work independently with little supervision, depending on the task at hand.
  • High level of communication skills and effective interpersonal skills appropriate for interacting with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Superior product knowledge as it relates to the product suite of Flight Operations and Air Traffic Management; capable of demonstrating high-levels of product knowledge internally and to customers.
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% to 50% of the time.
  • Previous experience with a major Flight Operations solutions provider and / or major airline is preferred.
  • Preference to have Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certifications
  • Capable of demonstrating high-level of product knowledge internally and to customers.
  • Understanding of market trends in a fast moving environment.
  • Have a clear understanding of product evolutions and priorities at all times.
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
  • Must possess strong analytical / critical thinking skills.
  • Must possess superior product knowledge as it relates to the defined product suite.
  • Competent in the use of the Google Workspace suite of products.
  • Capable of understanding and learning to use enterprise software solutions such as Salesforce, Qlik Sense, LoopIO, and Cirium.
