Who we are:

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production and delivery of Unmanned Aerospace System products with strict adherence to quality, customer requirements and safety guidelines.
• Responsible for meeting the preparation and adherence of the production schedule.
• Responsible for implementation of agile production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction
• Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success.
• Generating production and process documentation such as FAI, Work instructions, Job Cards, FMEA, change management, etc.
• Manage Quality Management Systems for Manufacturing in line with certification standards (eg. AS9100 Rev D)
• Support and lead continuous improvement, problem-solving and process improvement activities.
• Lead and/or support technicians and/or trainee engineers, train people within the organization and supervise sub-contractors.
• Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.
• Be an effective team member, working with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow with maximum output.

Must have skills:

• Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the Aerospace/Electronics or related industries, managing a team of 15+ members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, flexible, proactive and committed
• Sharp production focus with a drive for results

Basic Requirement:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Electrical with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production
