Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Progress Chaser to ensure timely execution and delivery of all Purchases and Repair Orders by vendors to join our Materials Supply Chain department.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Responsible for the daily contacting of suppliers to ensure on time delivery of goods required to meet the organizational requirements.
• Works closely with various company functions in the clearing of queries / discrepancies associated with the delivery of goods (Stores, Purchasing, Accounts, ETC.)
• Works closely with internal workshops to ensure timely repairs to aircraft components.
• Identifies shortages of spares in internal workshops and follows-up with buyers and vendors.
• Prioritizes tasks based on operational requirements.
• Assist in the development of and the close monitoring of suppliers delivery performance and recording of confirmation and actual delivery of data and provide such performance reports to sectional head.
• Updates and advises on delivery issues for purchased components especially those NIL stock.
• Assist the purchasing officer / repair officer with the necessary feedback files required to follow up on outstanding orders and related queries.
• Assist with the monitoring of vendor performance in terms of quality of products, certification and delivery promised / met etc. and provide the Manager / Assistant Manager with periodic reports / statistics.
• Assist the Assistant Manager when special projects / assignments are called up by management.
• Complies with company’s TPH procedures and manuals including applicable local DGCA regulations.
• Responsible to comply with the applicable laws, regulations and procedures of Jazeera Airways.
• Responsible for Safety & Quality of the function/ task performed.
• Responsible for reporting to his superiors' occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or other Engineering discipline or finance.
• 3 years’ experience as progress chaser.
• An in-depth knowledge of the procurement / repair procedure.
• General knowledge in financial analysis.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication in English.
