Job Description

CSIR-NAL is a unit under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Applications are invited from qualified candidates (Indian nationals) who meet the necessary educational and work requirements for engagement of Project Staff to work in various projects at CSIR-NAL. The engagement of Project Staff is purely on temporary and contract basis under the CSIR/Externally funded /Other projects undertaken by CSIR-NAL. The engagement shall be for short period and co-terminus with the project.

Apart from the registration for the above positions, applications are also invited for empanelment and engagement of Project Assistants / Project Associates I & II / Senior Project Associate / Research Associates / Principal Project Associate at various levels under CSIR/Externally funded/Other projects. Area wise panels will be prepared in the following disciplines/specialization for their selection to various projects whenever the need arises. As per the CSIR/NAL guidelines, details of requirements like qualification, age, stipend etc. are given below:

• Aerospace / Aeronautical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Materials / Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology/Information Security/Computer Network Security, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, RF & Microwave, Antenna, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science etc.
• BE/B.Tech in Aerospace/ Aeronautics/ Mechanical with 2 years’ experience
• Desirable: ME/M.Tech in Aerospace with FEA on Aerospace Structureexperience
• Carrying out Modelling and Analysis of Aging Aircraft Structures.
• Preference - Experience on Modelling and FEA of Aircraft Structural Components, Damage Tolerance, Loads

Skills Required

• Aerospace
