Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the overall planning and execution of the program to implement Air Navigation Services in a timely and efficient manner.
 

Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of AIS, ATC, and CNS projects to enable the provision of Air Navigation Services.
  • Coordinate with the operational teams, other ANS departments, and customers to identify project requirements and budgets.
  • Prepare a comprehensive business case based on the available budget to outline detailed project rationale, specification, milestones, timeframes, benefits and potential risks.
  • Develop detailed specifications, project documentation, resource requirements and draft contract for customer review and approval.
  • Work with the successful contractors to execute the project as per contractual terms and monitor progress against plan.
  • Report on project progress as per plan and take appropriate action(s) to gain internal/external stakeholder buy-in for any recommended changes to the project plan / contractual terms.
  • Monitor the equipment/services delivered as part of the project for the agreed duration of the defects liability period (DLP) for optimal customer satisfaction."
 
Technical Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent level of education.
  • Project management qualification, such as AMP, PMP, PRINCE2, etc.
  • 10 years of experience in delivering complex projects/programs.
  • Experience in delivering significant change in an Air Traffic Management environment.
  • Knowledge of QMS / IMS and SMS standards is preferred.
  • IT and project management software proficiency preferred.
  • Resilience to work under pressure for prolonged periods of time.
