• Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) – Industrial sector / Aerospace Business has Project leader - Opex as open position. In this position, the incumbent is responsible for successful execution of Operational Excellence projects for Industrial Sector.
• The role is responsible to facilitate development and deployment of business process and tool for new product development and sustaining engineering using the proven tools and processes of Eaton business systems (EBS) and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS).
• The incumbent is responsible to drive operation excellence through continuous improvement culture, support development e-learning modules and management of business standard works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in Operations Excellence with a total experience of 5-7 years
• Experience of working in PLM environment like ENOVIA, hands on experience of Lean/DMAIC tools, Good programing skills in Excel Macros and VBA
• Leadership skills - capability to lead change, Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management, Good analytical skills and business acumen, High proficiency in preparing and managing schedule
• Lead Operational excellence initiatives for Aerospace group and Industrial sector including EPIC, PROLaunch, Business Standards and Cost out
• Develop/Update standards (ACES), processes & tools working with Engineering teams. Responsible for configuration management of Standard work elements for Engineering and Project Management, PROLaunch.
• Work with business stakeholders for capturing requirements, post processing of data by utilizing digital tools to develop comprehensive proposals.
• Drive automation & digitization projects for Engineering processes, project exeuction & tracking using appropriate tools such as Excel Macros, VBA, Python, PowerApps & other O365 tools. Continuously builds digital skills to simplify proceses. Develops impactful dashboards and reports using Power BI and sharing those reports effectively using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Responsible for User Acceptance Test for new processes and tools
• Lead efforts on development of e-Learning modules leveraging IT resources
• Ensures effective change management process is utilized.
• Identify, lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and execute the required end-to-end product/process continuous improvement capabilities together with business teams, in alignment with cost, customer quality/reliability and other key company deliverables.
• Participate to drive Eaton Quality Management System across EIIC in close collaboration with EIIC EQMS lead. Participate in the process of obtaining certification and recertification covered under EQMS such as AS 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, etc.
• Lead & execute projects by detail planning using appropriate tools, risk mitigation & timely communication to the stakeholders and leadership.
