Job Description

We are a start-up start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian Defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform design, sizing and selection of optimum propulsion system for Electric & Fuel based UAV platforms.
• Prepare the CAD model and readiness to perform the CFD simulation of propeller with multibody using the commercial software (Ansys Fluent/CFX), followed by post-processing the results and documentation.
• Perform experimental tests to characterize the propulsion system and generate the performance data.
• Prepare propulsion models using the Python/MATLAB to support the UAV design and processing of computation and experimental data.
• Work with the cross functional subsystem to meet the design requirements.
• Prepare technical reports associated with the tasks performed for the company record.
• Readiness activities of the propulsion system throughout the design and development phase.

Software Requiremets:

• CAD tool: Solidworks, Catia, DesignModeler, Spaceclaim
• CAE tool: ANSYS FEA, CFX, FLUENT
• Scripting language: Python, MATLAB

Basic Requirement:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum relevant experience of 3-5 yrs
