Job Description

Skyroot Aerospace is seeking a highly talented Valve Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing space tech start-up. The candidate will be associated with Liquid Propulsion Team.

Responsibilities include:

• In house design and development, testing and post test data processing of Valves.
• Closely collaborate with the manufacturing team.
• Identify design modifications to improve Performance, Reliability, Manufacturability and Assembly.

Candidate Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Aerospace Valve Design.
2. Previous experience of designing of the following flight valves is desirable.

• Solenoid Valve,
• Pneumatic Valve,
• Check Valve,
• Injection Valve,
• Control Valve,
• Pressure Regulator etc.
• Conversant with Defense (Military) Standards and Design Procedures.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD Modeling Software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• In depth understanding of GD&T, Stack-up and Seating Area.
• Ability to perform Structural Analysis (Ansys preferred).
