AXISCADES is looking to strengthen its France Aerospace team with a motivated and dynamic Repair  Pylon Stress Engineer.

Location: Toulouse

Position: Executive Engineer

Main tasks:

• Based on airlines damage reports, you provide technical support and repair solution for damages out of standard structural repair solution for structural items of Pylons for all aircraft programs and models.
• Work within daily repair work team, performing the stress analysis (Static and Fatigue damage tolerance of the Pylon primary and secondary structures with approved aircraft OEM tools and methods).
• Communicate and liaise with client’s technical staff and approvers to arrive at the appropriate repair solution.
• Prepare the repair approval calculations and necessary airworthiness documents for approval.
• Support the client in ensuring the airworthiness compliance and working with time cost and quality.
• Ensure all tasks and activities required for Repair Engineering are correctly planned, monitored and executed to achieve customer time scales.

Requirements:

The candidate is expected

• To be experienced in the aircrafts pylon primary and secondary structures, interfaces and engine mounts and wing interfaces.
• Have a thorough knowledge of materials, loads, weight and balance, design and stress analysis.
• Proficient in titanium, steel and aluminium metallurgy and material processes.
• Familiarity with aircraft OEM design and repair principles.
• Familiar with aircraft OEM process/tools such as ISAMI, harmonized methods etc.
• You are passionate in aircraft design and want to develop overall structural repair knowledge.
• You want to be close to pylon’s product, operations and customers.
• You have customer mindset and solution oriented.
• You are able to perform in a high pressure environment and make quick decisions.
• Languages: Bilingual (French and English) to ensure communication with stakeholders/partners.
• Tools: Global expertise on tools like SAP ERP, Office Pack, Visual Management and Quality management Tools.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of working on similar scopes of activities.
