Job Description

To assist Fly Arna Quality and Safety manager and provide administrative support on daily activities within the Quality and Safety Department. He/she may deliver trainings and presentations whenever required ensuring that all safety measures are implemented, communicated, assessed, and always complied with. Within the framework of the Quality and Safety Department, participates in the development of manuals, policies, and documents, as well as suggestions for modifying and supplementing these documents. Performs quality compliance audits to determine compliance with existing regulations. Makes assistance in Safety management issues.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • With the Quality and Safety Managers assignment participates on performance of fulfilling tasks of the Quality and Safety department, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws/regulations and Company goals and objectives with the appropriate level of corporate preparedness.
  • With the Quality and Safety Managers assignment establishes, maintains and continuously updates manuals, checklists, and needed modifications to implement quality and safety controls to minimize safety hazards.
  • Participates on development of Quality audit plan and make recommendations for improvement of the Audit plan.
  • Participates on development of Quality compliance checklists and makes suggestions for improvement.
  • Participates on compliance monitoring audits, based upon the check, acting to correct any deficiencies that may have been detected by him.
  • With the Quality and Safety Managers assignment directs the research, review and evaluation of external source materials regarding airline emergency operations and assistance programs.

Key Result Responsibilities - Continued

  • Establishment and implementation of departmental SMS
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Updating of the Risk Register on regular basis.
  • With the Quality and Safety Managers assignment coordinates for all internal work such as record keeping, newsletter, publication, safety alerts, safety bulletins and presentation preparation.
  • In the absence of Quality and Safety manager deputises him.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or institute combined with needed experience and exposure, bachelor’s degree in aviation or equivalent.
  • Professional membership of associations related to the Aviation/Airlines industry is a plus.
  • Very good training design and delivery as well as public speaking skills.
  • Compliance, Audit and Quality Assurance certificates and trainings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel & Power Point.
  • Very good command over written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.
  • Fluent in English Language.

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in aviation Quality or Safety,
  • Basic knowledge of Quality and Safety procedures and regulations.
  • Capable of developing and delivering training programs and methodologies in the respective area of operation; basically “Emergency Response Program”.
  • Familiar with Quality Assurance / Internal & External Audit practices.
  • Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls, and recommending effective solutions.
  • Employs technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to support company’s objectives.
  • Compliance to all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Error Free reporting and analysis as per the required timeframe.
  • Updated ACY Risk Register
