Job Description

Provide reliable customer support to the worldwide Satair sales force with multi-disciplinary material and logistics related topics that, due to their political, time-critical and/or technical dimension, require customer-oriented focus, extensive knowledge of the Airbus and Satair organization and commercially sound judgement skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and isolation of problems in the Airbus supply chain / Order Desk systems for root cause elimination with process owners and functional experts
  • Ensure provision and delivery of support-focused training for Satair customers as well as internal employees
  • Accompany Account Directors, Customer Support Directors and/or conduct individual customer visits to the worldwide Satair base of customers having a focus on support aspects with a parallel commercial mindset for sales opportunities followed up by the Account Directors/Customer Support
    Directors
  • Represent Satair at global industry events in a support role and function
    when necessary
  • Manage the loading and rejection of new customers to order-related systems for spare parts in accordance with applicable access policies including the provision of required contractual documentation
  • Drive and cordinate with the internal business units to improve delivery performance and ensure future process alignment and performance improvements to meet customer and fleet growth improvments
  • Manage the regional collection of CSIP-relevant customer contacts for proper satisfaction survey management and follow up on required actions to restore customer confidence in close collaboration with the assigned Account Director
  • Inform customers and internal stakeholders about applicable policies and contract standards via communication, trainings and roadshows
  • Maintain relationship with the Airbus Field Service network and inform them about important initiatives impacting customer satisfaction

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain a close relationship with the Managing Director and Head of Sales in the region as well as other business functions
  • Communicate and coordinate with the CSDs in the regions when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate in Economics, Aeronautical Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/or Engineering/Industrial Engineering
  • Strong business acumen
  • Affinity and interest in solving issues in the area of aviation after-sales supply chain logistics
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in aviation material supply chain and/or aircraft maintenance planning or airline procurement
  • Fluency in English, other local languages desirable
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, SAP knowledge desirable.
  • Affinity with modern communication technologies, social media and digital tools, Excellent G-Suite proficiency
  • Ability to travel worldwide
  • Excellent communicator with good negotiation and presentation skills, ability to convince external senior managers in commercially sensitive situations
  • Customer orientated attitude

  • Pro-active and independent with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work in an international context
