We have a rare opportunity for a Regional Technology role in leading and executing Technology and business growth strategies in the Aftermarket Operations Asia Pacific (AMO APAC) organization at our Pratt & Whitney Singapore Headquarters. This is a leadership role directly influencing the long-term growth and technology transformation of the business, efficiency of our operations, and critical business processes.

You will report directly under the AMO Technology & CORE Director, Global Operations Transformation organization and work closely with the respective business General Managers at all regional locations comprised of CAS, ESA, PWCS, TOS (Singapore), CHEC (Christchurch) and SEC (Shanghai) to lead and execute Technology and Transformation initiatives.

The Aftermarket Operations Asia Pacific (AMO APAC) organization is a significant piece of the overall PW Aftermarket Operations business unit supporting the PW Commercial Engines division; and represents a collection of 6 repair and overhaul businesses which specialize in various types of aircraft engine part maintenance and service serving both Pratt & Whitney, and a variety of global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Drives execution of regional sites growth strategy and support the AMO Technology deployment goals and overall business objectives
  • Lead and coordinate alignment between multiple groups and organizations regionally to deploy the aftermarket growth strategy for Global AMO
  • Execution of AMO Technology deliverables (Franchise Model concepts) and Cost Reduction (Actual + Pipeline) initiatives meeting AMO Long Range Plan targets
  • Formulate, evaluate and implement standard work tracking across sites for deliverables, including short and long term objectives
  • Use project management tools to drive growth across the AMO organization and performance against critical business KPIs
  • Encourage technological innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and operational performances
  • Support a safety first work culture that exceeds safety performance goals and strives towards zero injuries
  • Encourage technological innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, operational improvements and cost reduction
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures including individual employee awareness of responsibility and accountability
  • Demonstrate awareness of the businesses competitive position in relation to the representative market place, including macro factors and trends which influence overall business operations and execution
  • Support diversity initiatives and all employee survey efforts and encouraging participation in the action planning teams
  • Work collaboratively with all levels of management, personnel and customers, and have key skills in project management, general business, model/database building, and operational analytics

Requirements

  • MBA/Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or technically related field or business
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement, finance, or business development
  • Demonstrated success in operations management, program management, engineering, communications, customer support functions, and supply chain management, preferably in the Aviation industry
  • Project management experience and driving change management
  • Strong leadership skills, critical thinking skills, business discernment, and ability to innovate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications is preferred
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills and demonstrated industry insight
  • ACE/CORE Accreditation and or LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney’s Engines Repair, PW Repair Centers, and PW Engine Services business is helpful
  • Advanced knowledge & experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial business. Aviation and Aftermarket experience would be a big plus
