About the role

You will responsible for providing support, guidance and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of the Division by coaching and conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with laws and best practices.

Accountabilities

• Assist with instilling a safety culture within the Division Provide support to the Division by maintaining presence in the field performing site visits, inspections and coordination with QRFM.
• Perform routine surveillance of critical areas within commercial and residential properties.
• Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HS&E programs in the field.
• Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance.
• Assist in implementation of Safety Management Plan (SMP) to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community.
• Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately by following QR procedures for incident reporting.

Qualifications

About you

You will possess:

• A minimum of 3 years specialist of job-related experience required.
• Previous role as an H&S supervisor in construction / property related projects.
• Supervising H&S in day to day operations, reviewing of PTW applications.
• Past experience in a H&S department
• Knowledge and experience in working with an ISO H&S Quality Management System.
• Conducting a Risk Assessment and minimizing risk in the workplace.
• Command of English language – speaking and writing reports.
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members
