Our Sales team is the largest revenue-generation department at United. They work closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, and corporate clients

Job overview and responsibilities

• Supports the Sr Analyst with developing and delivering a range of enhancements and system administration support for a suite of products used by United within Salesforce.com supporting Sales systems and field sales teams around the world
• Supports Salesforce.com applications and liaises with multiple program, product and sales team leaders to determine current and future CRM needs and enhancements
• Assists with the development of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform and liases with IT
• Supports the lead analyst with designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
• Manages multiple work priorities and creates timelines and development goals
• Responsible for testing the stability and functionality of the application
• Customizes and updates lead routing logic
• Ad hoc projects, as needed, for database clean-up and synchronization
• Responsible for coding , and implementing Salesforce applications working inconjunction with IT.     
• Troubleshoots and fixes system or application bugs        
• APEX, Lightning Components (LWC and Aura), VF & Lightning Development experience required         

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Required

• Working knowledge of any of the following: Advanced APEX, Lightning Components, VF & Lightning Development
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to explain the technical solutions to business stakeholders and be able to get information needed to process requests on time
• Proven comfort and thoroughness with program entry requests
• Be adept at juggling several projects and initiatives simultaneously through appropriate prioritization
• Exhibit fluent written and spoken English
• Completed Salesforce 'Trailhead' courses (Salesforce Platform Basics, Data Modeling, Data Management, Lightening Experience Basics, Features and Customization)
• Bachelor's, Associates or Certifications in MIS, CS, IT or equivalent work experience
• 2 year + in a company either using Salesforce or as a Salesforce administrator
• Previous work experience with application and software development and/or developing customer-facing interfaces
• Experience with API's, Web Services and cross-org integrations

Preferred

• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues
• Salesforce Administrator and/or other Salesforce 'Certifications' and/or Platform Developer 1
• Salesforce developer experience
• SFDX experience a plus
• Experience working in an agile software development environment
• Advanced APEX, Lightning Components, VF & Lightning Development experience
• Strong UI/UX web development tool experience (CMS, CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
