Role Purpose:

1. implement and monitor policy, procedures and security practices. Manage DHL Security and 3rd Party Security to safeguard DHL KSA employees, customer’s shipments, DHL assets and information against loss or damage.
2. Responsible for the timely investigation into losses and incidents relating to DHL assets, personnel and shipments.

Record and update incidents on the Security Incident database.

Accountabilities:

Skills/ Qualifications:

• Formal security training or competent in the DHL Operational process and procedures.

Investigative or audit experience. 

Impact:

Maintain preventative security equipment and procedures.

Problem Complexity / Process

• Conduct audits to assess effectiveness of security practices and programs at facilities.
• Regular security performance reviews to ensure we deliver value to the customers.\

Customer / Stakeholder:

• Ensure DHL meet with the security requirements.
• Maintain good relations with customers by offering security advice.
• Liase with local authorities, Customs, law enforcement.

Autonomy

• Reactive investigation into security breaches.
• Develop preventative security process/tools/equipment.
• Maintain good relations internally with all business units.

People Management

Regular contact with 3rd Party companies and Contractors to make them feel part of DHL family. 

Education

• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Experience

• Formal security training or competent in the DHL Operational process and procedures.

Technical Knowledge/Skills

• PC skills, particularly in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
