As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Customer Services Team in Chicago as a Senior Cargo Agent. The role includes:

• Providing assistance in generating maximum cargo sales in order to meet or exceed the set revenue/ tonnage target as well as providing customer service in sales and operational areas.
• Assisting customer / clients with all information related to booking / forwarding / delivery liaising with local Ground Handling Agents and with Head Office Cargo Department to ensure  satisfactory services provided by Qatar Airways
• Maintaining a close coordination between Qatar Airways Space Control and customers by ensuring their shipments are transferred, delivered on time and maximum priority is given to shipments.

Qualifications

About you

• Minimum of a High School Qualification with at least 2 years of  airline cargo experience
• Working knowledge of DGR, AVI, Temperature Controlled Shipments, IATA and other Cargo related regulations
• Knowledge of cargo customer service
• Fluency in written and spoken English
