Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for UAVs.
Analysis of rotating machinery components and systems including conceptual design, detailed design, testing, validation, and product implementation.
Develop Finite Element Models (Numerical and analytical).
Set up FEA models for Design Products in Abaqus and run simulations.
Define the applicable load cases and failure criteria.
Perform static and dynamic FEA.
Process FEA results and communicate them through documentation and presentations.
Use FEA to support test and failure investigations.
Perform Shock and Vibration analysis.
Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs.
Calculations to support design work.
Prepare and participate in project and technical reviews.
Collaborate in the development of internal and external project proposals and initiatives.
Bachelors / Masters / PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Applied Mechanics / Structural Dynamics.
Experience in component/ system design/ analysis of structural components.
Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems.
Proficiency in simulation software (Abaqus/ ANSYS/ NASTRAN) is a must.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar is a must.
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
