Job Description

Educational Qualifications         

This role aims to:  Create a Comprehensive and Seamless Customer Digital Journey and Increase Ancillary Revenue to Oman Air. The job holder will be responsible to increase the Direct Sales through all digital touchpoints (Web & Mobile) in addition to create an online travel services portfolio through partnering with 3rd parties or innovate to a new products fulfil the customer travel needs. In another word, this role is to create a “one-Stop-Shop” platforms.

Skills/Knowledge           

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 10 years of working experience
  • Master Degree will be preferred and advantage.
  •  Proficiency in English (Reading and Writing)
  •  Proficiency in MS office
  •  Analytical Skills
  •  Decision Making
  •  Management Skills
  •  Critical People Management Skills
  •  Strong Reservation and Ticketing Experience and other Online Applications
  •  Good financial and business analysis skills, Excel Skills are a must.

  •  Ability to enthuse and motivate Sales Staff worldwide
  •  Experience OR knowledge in Ecommerce, Retailing or Ancillary.

Job Description

  • Develop full digital Sales and Marketing strategy for Oman Air.
  • Develop and Implement Web Sales plan for the entire Oman Air network.
  • Develop Ancillary Revenue Strategy that increase the additional revenue streams for 0 cost products.
  • Ensure to support the management in the implementation of multiple large and complex projects related to Enhanced digital customer experience.
  • Drive initiatives to ensure category leadership in the airline E-commerce environment.
  • Manage the product development roadmap of E-sales and E-servicing tools, for example, Internet Booking Engine, Online Check-in and Mobile platforms, to ensure that the airline is at the cutting edge of available technological developments and that our product is at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead initiatives to identify research and make recommendations for business improvements ensuring end to end success of the analysis, information gathering and execution.
  • Collaborate to deliver a 5-star customer experience on the web, mobile and other E channels to encourage returning customers thus increasing revenue.
  • Manage and Lead the Conversion Rate Optimization Process through advanced analytical skills.
