Educational Qualifications         

• Bachelor Degree in any filed having 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role and function
  1. OR Two Years College Diploma holder in any discipline with 6 years of relevant experience
  2. Secondary School with 10 years of relevant experience preferably in Airline of relevant experience

Skills/Knowledge           

• Proficiency in English (Spoken & Written).
• The ability to communicate technical data and write instructional text in clear and concise English.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to use Excel Sheet in high level.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and medium to large projects.
• Must be self-motivating and able to manage varying workloads.

Job Description

• Fuel Efficiency Working Group Support
  1. Collect, monitor, prepare and maintain data related to environment when needed for Fuel Efficiency Working Group. This includes communication across departments, which directly or indirectly influence the consumption of aviation fuel.
• Prepare required by MOE&E material related to environment to be presented to Oman Air senior leadership team and provide needed support for establishing the arrangements to enable Fuel Efficiency Working Group members to optimise the efficiency and impact of project delivery.
• Support fuel efficiency working group to drive the environment initiatives and projects in their departments as a leader of the initiatives and projects.
• Shall support MOE&E to achieve successful management of all activities related to the environment, managing technical, administrative and communication activities to underpin the programme’s success.
• Environment
• Generate the annual report for EU-ETS flights working closely with other departments such as Engineering to support generating the report and working also closely with the verification Body to verify it and ensure the readiness of submission with all required documents to EU-ETS before the deadline.
• Ensuring the effective participation in the CORSIA initiative for reporting the annual emissions which managed by ICAO and tracked by the authority (PACA). Data coverage and solutions to cover the gaps should be managed and deliver the best possible emissions figures with the highest accuracy.
• To make sure data availability for CORSIA by working closely in a daily basis with IT team and engineering following up about the missing data.
• Working with different systems used to gather the data such as SkyBreathe, Aircom, PaxPlus, and AMOS and create a weekly report about data availability.
• Continuously supporting the company to generate emissions reports whenever needed.
• Developing a future vision on the environmental perspective to help the company to be greener not only by producing fewer emissions but also within the company such as materials used and surrounding environment of the company’s HQ building.
• Creating business cases for project related to environment that save cost for the company and it is an environmental friendly.
• Attend when it is required the external or internal conferences and virtual meeting for environment or related to environment.
• Fuel Efficiency and Environment Projects / Program Management Support
• Support MOE&E in all related IATA, ICAO related projects.
• As requested by MOE&E prepare needed material for MOE&E to represent Oman Air at all associated activities, such as but not limited to ICAO projects, conferences and workshops, airlines forums and meetings, and environmental actives.
