Job Description

As a part of the Simulink Check team, you will develop cutting-edge model-based design analysis capabilities that identify design improvements in large and complex Simulink models.

MathWorks' core software platforms, MATLAB and Simulink, form the foundation of a Model-Based Design environment that enables the Modeling, Simulation, Verification and implementation of software for complex systems. The integration of algorithm development, modeling, simulation, C code generation and reporting into a single software environment has become essential for companies that develop and certify control systems to increase the efficiency of their design flows.

You will leverage your industry experience to advance the state-of-the-art model analysis and improve the quality of today’s designs used in aerospace, automotive, railway and industrial automation industries.

Responsibilities

As a member of our global development team, you will be responsible for extending the model static analysis capabilities of Simulink Check. Specifically, you will -

• Leverage product knowledge and industry experience to develop state-of-the-art model analysis algorithms
• Develop new model-based design guidelines and proof-of-concept prototypes
• Develop capabilities that streamline workflows and increase customer productivity
• Leverage your communication and inter-personal skills working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the best product possible

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with MathWorks tools (MATLAB, Simulink)
• Experience developing software for safety-critical systems (e.g. DO 178, ISO 26262, etc.)
• Experience modeling control systems
• Experience with programming in C/C++ or other Object-Oriented Languages is nice to have
