Job Description

Requirements:

• Draft and update corporate communication collaterals (e.g. press releases, Q&As, factsheets, briefing documents, speeches, etc)
• Manage publication of the monthly inflight magazine
• Organise and plan media events or press conferences
• Liaise with media and facilitate requests for interviews with executives, statements, etc.
• Drive issues management and crisis communications in cases of adverse publicity
• Foster relationships with key media contacts and influencers to drive and influence media coverage and exposure
• Support internal stakeholders to identify and address their media and communications needs with the appropriate initiatives
• Manage in-market PR agencies together with local teams to serve individual markets’ PR and communication needs while ensuring alignment with overall communications objectives
• Develop effective corporate communication plans/strategies for key business developments, such as but not limited to new route launches, etc.
• Evaluate and execute requests for sponsorship and commercial collaborations
• Build and manage Scoot’s corporate social responsibility program in line with the company’s brand values
• Develop ways to measure the value of and return on Scoot’s PR and communications initiatives 

Job Requirements:

• Recognised degree in public relations, communications or relevant field
• Preferably 2-4 years of PR Communications experience
• Proficient command of English and, ideally, at least one other language
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills; experience in copywriting and editing preferred
• Team-player with strong stakeholder management and project management skills
• Must be proactive, resourceful, and able to plan and act even in the absence of complete information
