Role Purpose

Manage the day to day affairs of an effective and efficient operations and systems in line with given deadlines. Ensure the maintaining the OS patching and hardening the environment from security threats. Performing and monitoring the backups are maintained timely and properly. Ensure the recovery of critical systems timely and properly. And provide accurate and timely management information to Data Center Manager

Knowledge and Experience

• More than 5 years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Datacenter and System Administration, including IT support services for a running business, Creating Virtual Environment, and Hardening Servers and OS.
• Deep understanding of Windows Active Directory And MS-Exchange
• Data Storage architecture including FC Switching and Zoning
• Broad understanding of IP protocols, at all layers of the stack
• Familiarity with MS Hyper-V, IIS, SQL
• Experience with Mail and Web Security Gateway products
• Remote access Design- RDP, VNC, VPN with RSA
• Security monitoring and awareness techniques
• Datacenter design and installation
• Project management skills
• Security monitoring and awareness techniques including IPS and SEIM.
• Experience with WAN and LAN technologies
• Knowledge of ITSM framework
• best practice guidelines (ISO 17799, NIST, etc.)
• Remote access Design- RDP, VNC, VPN with RSA.
• Knowledge in multi-platform IT environments
• Experience of working in a multinational company

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences / Computer Engineering
• Certified in Microsoft Servers, Applications plus Linux or Red hat
• Certified in Virtualization
• Strong experience managing a diverse environment that includes, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Blade Servers, Storage Area Networks (SAN), multisite data networks, Unified communications, MS SQL Server Database, and Hyper-V for server virtualization
