Job Description

The candidate is expected to lead Alliances activities at Vistara which involves various strategic activities such as Codeshare, Interline, SPA agreements, IROPs agreements, Joint ventures and Joint business agreements which will enable the airline to enhance its network reach to achieve desired strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting new airline partners, developing and implementing interline pricing strategies, developing and negotiating commercially viable interline agreements
• Thorough understanding of interline agreements, codeshare and other commercial partnership agreements
• Handling of interline SPA’s, MITA and traffic agreements
• Understanding of IROPS scenarios, developing IROPS agreements and handling procedures
• Maintain & evaluate revenue reports on contribution from existing airline partners on regular basis
• Maintain relationship with all Airline Partners as Single point of contact
• Study network and schedule feasibility for Interline and Codeshare connectivity on Vistara network on regular basis
• Good understanding of various Interline settlement procedures adopted by International carriers
• Monitor and find ways to channelize incremental traffic onto Vistara network
• Understanding of regulatory procedures involving Interline/codeshare partnerships
• Prepare papers and recommendations on Vistara’s strategy on airline partnerships
• Study and manage strategic and tactical pricing agreements with airline partners
• Monitor and regularly study market share and yields from airline partners
• Prepare relevant reports on regular basis for senior management
• Coordinate and implement IET projects

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in advanced excel, MS word, MS ppt, and other MS office skills

• Must be a strategic and analytical thinker
• Good Negotiation Skills
• Sound knowledge of Airline reservation systems is mandatory

Work Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Revenue Management, Network planning or Ticketing operations will be an added advantage
• Experience in AMADEUS and SABRE codeshare manager is preferred

Qualification

• Graduate/ Postgraduate from a recognized university
