Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROL
To supervise material planning activities which includes the development, analysis, reporting, evaluation and establishment of correct planning parameters and inventory movements to optimize inventory including rotable assets and system administration.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Key Activities 

• Assists the Manager Material Planning and Procurement in managing the department’s material planning and rotable management activities to ensure right material availability for all the aircraft maintenance activities from initial provisioning to operational support of Airframe, engine and cabin maintenance activities at EIS, line operations, heavy maintenance and aircraft lease returns.
• Develops adequate team skills and establish process and procedures required for the execution of the material planning activities in the relevant areas of maintenance support such as line and heavy maintenance, AOG support, aircraft entry into service and return from service activities.
• Manages the right data including master data and planning and procurement parameters in the system for proper analysis, reporting and efficient functioning of the planning models for achieving optimum results in material availability and inventory control.
• Reviews and Authorize alternate parts/superseded parts, identify obsolete parts, working in close coordination with engineering and maintenance planning departments for parts classifications and maintaining parts standards in the system.
• Conducts provisioning reviews and calculate provisioning quantities at initial phase of provisioning and continue to ensure right provisioning models are adopted to ensure right quantity of material are provisioned as per the right classification.
• Manages and reconciles the inventory of Rotables, Consumables and other assets evaluating active, useful and surplus inventory to carry out appropriate disposal actions following governance.
• Understands the user requirements and coordinates to provide IT and system related solutions such as report preparations, report developments, essential and minimum system coding if required, updating and maintaining system configurations (AMOS) etc.
• Implements continuous improvement programs and facilitate system administration for Material function in compliance with Procedure Manuals.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications 

• Graduate in any engineering field or any other equivalent technical education
• Any additional qualification related to Material Management preferred

Experience  

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aviation) or equivalent
• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 7

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
