Main Objectives

Ensure safety standards and 'on time' departure of all aircraft at GF line stations.

To maintain Company and 3rd party aircraft in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule using approved methods and procedures.

Administratively reporting to the Airport Manager and functionally/ operationally reporting to the Manager Regional Maintenance or functional head in HDQ.

Main Duties

• Perform routine checks and defect rectification on GF Aircraft ensuring safety and dispatch reliability.
• Attend and participate in the monthly Station Coordination meeting organized and chaired by the Country Manager (CM) or the Area Manager (AM) for all functional heads in the station to enhance synergy and team work of all staff in the station.
• Attend and participate in the Airport Coordination meeting organized and chaired by the Airport Manager (APM).
• Ensure handling agencies perform their functions as per contract.
• Ensure On-time departures of these aircrafts on completion of relevant routine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks and to ensure maximum technical dispatch levels and quality aircraft maintenance services are maintained.
• Handle other operator’s aircraft in accordance with the terms of the contract.
• Control line stations spares movement and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained.
• Ensure GF Ground Equipment is maintained properly. Control all engineering staff at line station.
• Co-ordinate activities when extra work pack is called up in other line stations.
• Participate in negotiating handling contracts in the station.
• Ensure Health and Safety of staff is maintained in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain the station Manuals/Technical Publications up-to-date as per Company requirements.
• Ensures accurate, timely debriefs of stations messages to Maintenance Control Centre on aircraft departure, technical delay, defect rectification, ADDs/MDDs raised and ETS during prolonged technical delay.
• Plan annual leave with APM and the CM/AM in coordination with Manager Regional Maintenance or concerned functional management in HDQ.
• Carry out any other related tasks as may be assigned by the APM or the CM/AM.

Education & Experience

• Holding Full approval on A320 family CEO (CFM 56 / V2500 ) , A320 Family NEO ( LEAP 1A ) and B787-9 Trent 1000 .
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as Engineer .
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Line Maintenance outstations .
• Handle and Manage the Line Maintenance station .
• Must be fluent in Arabic and English language.
• Accept to work and live under high intensive security level .
