Job Description

Store Keeper is responsible to efficiently control and administer all technical stores areas, and ensure all inven­tory correctly transacted on the computerized inventory system. He has to ensure that all QCAA/EASA and Quality section instructions relating to materials and spares control are strictly adhered to, and to be fully conversant with all Technical Materials Section procedures in this section by:

• Updating the computerized inventory system.
• Providing stock items on-time to its final destination at least two days before the input of a hangar check and when advised by the Material Planner.
• Assisting with the receiving of goods into the computerized inventory system (first stage) prior to the inspection.
• Despatching items required at outside stations.
• Checking stock for nil or not stocked situations, to determine availability of stock as ‘as required’.
• Maintaining standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and safety precautions.
• Protecting stores from entering by unauthorized persons.
• Recording of daily duty log and preparing shift hand-over.
• Effecting temporary or permanent special projects according to management commissioning.
• Supporting Supervisor Aircraft Store in regards to his duties.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level:

• High School.

Qualification & Experience

• Five (5) years experience in Aircraft Stores.
• Logistic and Goods Training.
• Basic Aviation Training.
• Knowledge of packing for shipment by air, sea and road.
• Knowledge of dangerous good regulations.
• Experience in computerizes inventory system.
