Job Description

Structural Design Engineers 

Responsibilities

  • Develop structural parts designs compliant to cost and manufacturing requirements using appropriate techniques for design such as manufacture and assembly (DFMA) and design to cost
  • Create design definitions of a work-package, including integration, interfaces, dimensions, materials, parts, manufacturing process requirements, assemblies, and tolerances which are compliant to all design requirements and objectives.
  • Creation of Drawing set compliance with Airbus Standard and Procedures
  • Having hands on experience on BOM creation
  •  Perform all the above activities at a level of minimal supervision

Qualifications

BE Mechanical or Aeronautics

Skills

  • Experience working on Airbus Structural design using airbus processes
  • Knowledge across A320, A330 and A350 programs, with both metallic and composite capabilities.
  • Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance.
  • Knowledge & experience of fuselage component design (Primary/ Secondary)
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V5 on drawing/model modification.
  •  Understanding of airbus DMU
