Job Description: for Structural Vibrations & FEA Engineer
In the role of Mechanical Engineer, you will:
• Work in Mechanical Engineering Team (OF Generator) to develop direct drive generator.
• Performs and delivers structural analysis with respect to ZCD commitments and propose design solution based on simulations.
• Develop methods and approach to analyze simulation and test data using advanced signal processing techniques (MATLAB/ Python).
• Responsible for the model analysis of generator systems, including prediction / simulation.
• Predict of vibro-acoustics & structural dynamics using both analytical and simulation techniques (ANSYS Workbench/APDL preferred).
• Experience in Wavelet analysis, PSD Analysis
• Carry out high quality experimental validation programs covering modal analysis, Harmonic Analysis, operational deflection shapes, transfer path analysis and non-linear material modelling using MATLAB and/or Python
• Contributes to the development of structure simulation methodologies and tools.
• Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders at all stages of the project.
• Participates in relevant Design / Verification reviews.

Required Qualifications
• BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering/Civil/Aero Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Vibration analysis using Ansys Workbench/APDL. Intermediate level expert in MATLAB/Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Understanding of complex mechanical system. Ideally with automotive / aerospace / Wind turbine background.
• An excellent working knowledge and experience in the design and integration of turbomachinery covering a broad aspect of disciplines (mechanical, electric motor design/control).
• Hands-on of failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of vibration equipment, procedures, and testing instrumentation.
• Team player with systematic and independent way of working and good communication skills.
• Results-oriented self-starter with a track record of delivering results.

Preferred.
• Experience of working in global Engineering company.
• Total/relevant experience 3 to 7 years
• Knowledge in the fundamentals of acoustics and source characterization.
• Previous experience in wind turbine industry is preferred.
• Experience with a CAD package
• Experience in developing qualification/test programs and ability to set up and execute prescribed tests.

* Monitors solution performance in the prototyping, test and verification phase.
* Manages the commissioning phase with the customers, and analyzes potential malfunctions.
* Implements approved concepts.
* Ensures observance of specifications, under consideration of market and technology trends.
* Creates respective reports.
